Although foreign-domiciled applicants are not required to use a U.S. attorney to file a Copyright application it is recommended that a U.S. attorney be consulted for the following:

  • Written Works - This can include books, articles, blogs, and screenplays.

  • Musical & Dramatic Works - This can include songs, plays, and choreography.

  • Artistic Works - This can include photographs, paintings, and sculptures.

  • Software - This can include computer programs (systems and applications).

When you are ready to ensure that your filing is compliant with U.S. law and given the statutory protection it needs in federal court, please go to our Contact Page or email us instructor@esllegalacademy.com for a confidential interview.
